Made from selected grapes. It represents the rebirth of Greek vineyards, whose rebirth took place in the Corinthian soil and holds a centre stage position during the last decades. The wine stays with the wine sludge for a short period, gaining a better structure and body. It has a bright soft color with green-yellow highlights and aromas of green pepper, mango, pear and flowers. In addition to salads / fruit, it also goes well with pasta, fish, chicken and cheese. An old time favourite wine, both of Greek people and foreign visitors, chracterised by a spicy flavour and sweet overtones. It fills the palate with a rich sense of local authenticity. Its gentle intensity transports us to the barely trodden tracts of the Peloponnese to relive stories and experiences of our ancestors. This fabulous wine can be deliciously match to red meat sauces, barbeques, game, oven delicacies such as rooster with noodles, as well as numerous appetizers and desserts.
SYRAH - MERLOT • DRY RED WINE PROTECTED GEOGRAPHICAL INDICATION: PELOPONNESE.
A red wine produced from the syrah and merlot varieties in a ratio of Syrah 70% - Merlot 30% that are cultivated in selected Corinthian vineyards. It is classicaly fermented for 48 hours at 20˚C. It is characterised by a taste rich in blossoms and soft tannins with scents of spices. Pairs with red meat/game, lamb in pot/oven, beef/ veal in tomato sauce, shepherd-pies, roasted/ sizzled pork, pasta with savory or piquant sauces/dips, mature smoked cheese, Roquefort, blue cheese etc. SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16 – 18 C˚ 0,75L/12.2% VOL
DRY ROSE WINE • AGIORGITIKO • PROTECTED GEOGRAPHICAL INDICATION: CORINTHIA
The grapes are selected from mountainous vineyards found in the Nemea region at an altitude of 800 m. They are traditionally fermented with the grape must for about 10 hours and at a temperature of 20 C˚. Its characteristics are a rose flavour, an explosive odour of fruit scents and a glowing aftertaste. Goes well with pasta with white sauce, pizzas, risotti, fish, poultry, salads/ snacks with mushrooms/truffles/rocket/ spearmint and so on. SERVING TEMPERATURE: 12 -14 C˚. 0,75L/12.2% VOL
